How to Put Your Name to
AI-Assisted Work

At some point this week, you almost certainly trusted a page that no one checked.

A method for leaders, lawyers, accountants and consultants who use AI in their work.

Front cover of Tempered: How to Put Your Name to AI-Assisted Work, by Adam Green

Not using Kindle? The ebook is also on Apple Books, Kobo and other ebook stores. Every format and store is listed below.

So how do you stand behind work you did not write alone?

The answer is older than the machine. A samurai blade is not strong despite the fire. It is strong because of it.

Tempered turns that idea into a working method.

1  Use AI at full speed.

2  Run the handful of checks that find the failures that matter.

3  Build a practice that outlasts the tools.

4  Put your name on the result, knowing what you are standing behind.

Five questions for anyone using AI at work

If you use AI in your work and put your name to the result, this site is for you.

Do we actually know what is happening? Warning sign: your evidence is a summary of a summary, and nobody can say who checked the original.

What stops us getting better? Warning sign: someone raised this months ago, nothing happened, and they've stopped raising things.

What changes, and how? Warning sign: the fix was a policy, a template or a training session, and the work itself hasn't changed.

Does it stick when nobody is watching? Warning sign: it worked while the programme was live, then slipped within six months of the final report.

Has it made a difference? Warning sign: you can show sessions run, controls tested and tickets closed, but not one number that would have moved if the work had failed.
